Collaborative Doctoral Partnership:
Tate & The University of Nottingham

In 2017 I completed an AHRC-funded Collaborative Doctoral Partnership with Tate and the School of Education at The University of Nottingham. My PhD investigated partnerships between visual arts organisations and the youth sector, using the Tate-led programme Circuit as the context for a multi-sited ethnographic study. My fieldwork took place across organisations in Cambridge, Colchester, Llandudno, London, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham and St Ives.

My book based on this research: Youth Work, Galleries and the Politics of Partnership was published by Palgrave in 2019.

I also authored chapters for the Circuit publication - available to download here.
