Bath Spa University: Creative Policy Fellowships

I am currently working as a researcher/evaluator on Bath Spa’s Creative Policy Fellowships programme, which commissions and supports creative practice researchers from the university to be in residence at one of a group of civic partner organisations. Practitioners are placed in various policy-making contexts, including Bath and Northeast Somerset Council and the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, over a period of six months.

The aim of this project is to provide an experimental space in which creative practitioners might bring new ways of thinking and working to different policy contexts. Together with the Research Impact team at BSU we are exploring: How can creative practice research inform local policy and create change?
