Holocaust Centre North
I am currently working with Holocaust Centre North on a couple of projects, including the development of a mental health report/policy, looking at how the Centre can enhance its practices around mental health support for staff, researchers, practitioners, survivor families and visitors.
The report includes a short literature review exploring mental health support for researchers/practitioners engaged with traumatic subject matter, as well as findings and recommendations from interviews - covering staff emotional labour, duty of care to practitioners and navigating difficult material/stories and personal connections to the Holocaust.
I am also evaluating the Centre’s Memorial Gestures programme, which commissions artists, writers and translators to respond to the Holocaust Centre North archive over the course of 6-9 month-long residencies.
